Arista Networks Signals Meta & Microsoft CapEx Ramp
Revenue from enterprise customers expected to accelerate as result of data center upgrade cycle.
November 1, 2022
Arista Networks (ANET), a provider of cloud networking solutions, is expecting two of its cloud titans to ramp data center spending. Arista gets a significant portion of its revenue from Microsoft and Meta, which accounted for 15% and less than 10% of FY21 sales, respectively. This was down from FY20 and significantly lower than FY19, when Microsoft and Meta accounted for 40% of Arista’s sales.
In its latest quarterly filing, Arista inserted new language signaling it expects a spike in Meta and Microsoft spending due to a new product deployment:
“...we have experienced and expect the collective revenue contribution from these same customers to return to more elevated levels during fiscal 2022 as they broadly adopt our newer 400 GbE and related networking products.”
